you need to catch up to speed. It's all ball bearings these days, son. Get you some 40 weight ball bearings and a can of wd40 and you'll be good to go.

Dura ace WH7850 vs Bouwmeester hors categorie?
I have the dura ace wheels and would like to know if any one has used the bouwmester ones? Any better or any advantages over the dura ace wheels? Also are tubular wheels easier to maintain than clinchers?

Tubular, or sewup tires are MUCH more difficult to maintain, but the lower rolling resistance and lighter weight makes the tradeoff worth it for some. I still have a few bikes with sewups when I want the extra edge in pure performance.
However, if you don't compete on a regular basis you have no need for tubulars. It is like taking a Formula 1 car out on the street and wondering why it overheats at a traffic light... they just aren't meant to stop!
