What is the Max safe pressure for a Dot -e7737-1800 Aluminum High pressure Bottle?
My dad has a couple of these filled with CO2 and wants to make sure they are not overfilled. Does anyone have any idea?
I forgot to mention that it is something that is for a car I believe. It isn't a paintball thingy, but I believe similar to the size of one of those Scuba tank thingies.
We believe we saw something on a site that sold some scuba thingy and that it had the same dimensions.

How is this an example of pressure?
A current U.S. 12 oz soft drink can measures about 6.6 cm(2.6 inches) in diameter and 12.1 cm (4.75 inches) tall. The area of a cylinder of these dimensions is about 316 square cm (49 square inches), including the ends. The force of one atmosphere of pressure on that area is about 3200 newtons (720 lbs). Nevertheless, such cans can be made of very thin aluminum because the same force acts outward from the inside of the can.
If a few cubic centimeters of water is poured into such a can (just enough to cover the bottom) and the can is held above a laboratory burner for about 30 seconds, the water can be brought to the boiling point where its vapor pressure is equal to atmospheric pressure. The vapor will then push most of the air out of the can. If the can is quickly inverted into a beaker of water, sealing off the opening, the sudden drop in vapor pressure will result in enough net inward pressure to quickly crush the can.
the pressure on the outside of the can is greater than the pressure on the inside of the can... does that make sense?

Hawkins Pressure Cooker
This pressure cooker is a very high quality product and at a very reasonable price. I am amazed at the quality of the product and the convenience of using it. Since it is almost non-stick, cleaning it is also very easy. This product was far better than the $200 fagor futuro pressure cooker set that i had bought which ended up leaking steam. When I compare the two there is just no question on how far superior this pressure cooker is. This pressure cooker also conserves more energy and water than the classical Hawkins cookers as it doesn't go through the cycle of leaking a lot of steam every few minutes (the whistle). Once you hear the hiss of steam, you lower the heat and start the timing. For those who are trying to decide steel vs aluminum, I think its a no-brainer now that I have used a steam pressure cooker. Steel just doesn't cook evenly, even with the aluminum sandwiched at the base. I was so impressed that I ordered a second Hawkins futura pressure cooker to replace my old traditional aluminum pressure cooker.
