Armed Citizen Street
Is it moral for politicians?
Is it moral for politicians to have 24/7 ARMED bodyguard protection and at the same time restrict or completely prohibit lawful citizens from holding and carry arm for self protection, and do nothing about criminals who can have any gun they want? Do you still think politicians care about your well being, or even just care about you at all? Don’t you thing they need you only when you are in the vote booth when you are voting the way they want you to vote?
Even regular, street working police officers (not the police officials) admit that they can’t protect you from the crime at your home, and only arrive to the place of crime after the fact. Even when crime happened on the street they still respond after the fact.
No. Not even police, we should have the right to bear arms.
It is legal for the Police to have weaponry in order to defend themselves against criminals, and yet it is illegal for citizens - who are the major targets and victims of criminals. This is inequality, immorality, and illogic. It also leaves people vulnerable to be the victims of the Police. Who as statistics say are quite likely to be abusive and corrupt. This does not allow people to effectively execute their Human Right to self defense.
The government would be encouraged to operate more efficiently and provide the services the people want because they no longer have the monopoly on force. And the idea that they can do whatever they want because they can't be effectively confronted and overwhelmed would disappear.
And everyone says the crime rate would go up but it will create a stronger sense of community and civic responsibility instead of sheer reliance on the Police for protection. It will act as a deterrent for criminals out of fear of everyone and anyone, as oppose to the single authority of the police.

HRT VS Marines in different situations?
Of the following situations, which one would prevail, The FBI's Hostage Rescue Team VS The United States Marine Corps:
-Sniping out an individual suspect hiding in a tree 300 meters away
-Sniping out an individual suspect in an open field, without being seen by the suspect at 300 meters away
-Disarming the firearm of a suicidal man in a public location without being noticed by the man
-Rescuing a hostage held at gunpoint with numerous citizens around
-Stopping a street riot consisting of about 100 people going nuts, destroying things
-Shooting down an attacking plane that is headed for a government building
-Busting a drug raid where the suspects are all armed, and inside of a secure house
HRT would be better because they train specifically for these situations. Very rarely, if ever, would a Marine be faced with the above situation, except maybe the sniper questions, which then would be determined by the shooter himself vs. what military or para-military unit they are in.
