Armor Bulletproof Vest
What would you do if you oulled a guy over for speeding, it was "The Rock", and he started giving you lip?
Calling you a "candyas@, a popcorn fart, a jabroni, say "It doesn't matter, what you think!!!", say "You can take that ticket, turn it sideways, and shove it straight up your candyas@!"
And then he gets out of the car and gives you a "Rock Bottom", a "People's Elbow", and because of the armor of your bulletproof vest, you are protected just enough to have just enough strength to go for a weapon and take him down.
Would you,
A) Shoot him full of lead
B) Tackle him and kick him in the "People's Balls".
C) Shoot him with "The People's Tazer"
D) Both B and C.
What would you do?
None of the above. If it was the Rock's candy @ss, I'd light him up with a couple of jabs, and then a kick to the gut. While warding off inevitable blows, I'd get on top of my police cruiser and serve up a flying elbow. After that, I'd mockingly say "Do you smell what I'm cooking, b*tch?" Then I'd drag his now limp body to the hood of his car and smash him through it.
Then I'd chill with John Cena and be rad all day.

How does a bulletproof vest affect a bullet's exit?
Say that someone is wearing a bulletproof vest (or if you have experience in it specifically, the Interceptor Body Armor formerly standard for the Marines and Army). If the bullet enters through an unprotected area (i.e. somewhere the vest does not cover; for the sake of argument, let's say through the area below the right shoulder) and then would exit the body in a place which IS covered by the vest (let's say, upper back, close to the right shoulder blade) what will happen to the bullet?
Will it stop before it exits? Will it exit and be caught in the material of the vest itself? Will it be trapped between the vest and the body, and is there a chance it could re-enter the wound if that happens? And what consequences will this situation have for the person who's been shot?
This is research for a story, any help would be appreciated.
I would suggest contacting an expert on bulletproof vests. Even manufacturer's who do rigorous tests on their products would be able to give you a decent answer.
