Can biometrics be used with handguns?
Handguns that only work with fingerprint or hand-print recognition? It would keep disarmed police officers from being shot with their own guns or children from shooting themselves with their parent's weapons.
Is this feasible?
I don't think it would work on my MG 34, MG 42, DP 28, or my ZB vz. 26.

If we try to combine a biometric (fingerprint) system with some cryptographic system, we are confronted with the question, if there is enough information in the fingerprint.
