Today air travel is undertaken by more and more people. Bigger aircraft like double-decker A380 are likely to come into service soon. The problem of safe air travel free from threats of hijackings has to be solved with the help of better technology. Biometric data, fingerprints and photographs of passengers should be obtained. Closed circuit TV cameras should be fitted in aircraft cabins and data should be continuously relayed from air to ground control. Suspicious activities of passengers should be especially monitored closely from ground control. For each passenger, one citizen should be required to give guarantee of good behaviour,on penalty of stiff sentences which could be imposed on the citizen. Pilot cabin should be well insulated from passenger cabin; no potential hijacker should be able to get into pilot's cabin. There should be provision to spray chemicals into the cabin to make the hijackers as well as all other passengers fall unconscious so as to immobilise the hijackers.
Seriously: just follow what the Israelis do - they've been dealing with this for years. A remote control airplane might be something to consider to, where the pilot can lock out the controls to have a ground based pilot lead the plane to a safe landing.

Can electronic safes be easily broken into vs combination/key entry safes?
I'm thinking about buying an inexpensive safe to place in the closet to hold some of our more valuable items, but was unsure if I should get a key/combination entry safe or one of those newer digital entry safes. I was also looking at the new biometric safes.
Any ideas, opinions, preferences, or experiences with one over the other?
I prefer a safety deposit box at the bank. If the knowledge gets out that you have a safe in your home, it's an open invitation to thieves to break in.
