Which Pistol Round Beats TypeIII+ Armor?
Which one of those Pistol not Revolver but revolver is okay, round(s) can go through and make a one shot stop thru even those Type III or Type IV and atleast Type IIIA body armor. People have been telling me this is posible and if so it'll be great to take it to the bear stalking park near my home in switzerland. If pistols can do it though it'll be the terrorists dream come true for about 60% of it now.
Pistol rounds that "defeat body armor..." is a subject that has been extremely misrepresented by the media and politicians and others with dubious intent.
The truth is, body armor of just about any kind don't offer much protection against a standard rifle. Or a head shot. Or a leg shot. Or an explosion. Or a knife. Or being hit by a vehicle, etc., etc., ect.
Everybody knows this, especially the police.
They also understand that this relatively recent technology of body armor offers PROTECTION and is not in any way "bullet proof".
Law enforcement officers have dealt with bad guys with guns for centuries with no body armor. The existence of such body armor has not changed the policeman's techniques, training or courage in any way. They still do their jobs so that society is safer and so that they can go home at the end of the day.
So the existence of ammo that "defeats body armor" is a reality and actually always has been. It's a sensationalized story that simply feeds public fear of firearms and is a tool of those who feel that citizens should be disarmed.
Such ammo is not a "terrorist dream come true" either. How many law enforcement officers have been shot with handguns by terrorist? I'd say very few, because terrorist are cowards that prefer to kill unarmed civilians in mass attacks, not with firearms.
The existence of body armor defeating ammo.....any rifle round....has not found it's way into the terror tool box and likely never will.
If you are Suisse, I'm sure you are familiar with the 7.5x55 Swiss cartridge that was used in your rifles for years. I have one and many people here in the US use it for deer, wild hogs, etc.
It will easily take care of those little bears you guys in Europe have.

There is all kinds of military stuff on ebay. Where did you get that info??
Some states prohibit the possession of body armor if you are a felon, and some states have penalty enhancers if you commit a crime while wearing body armor, but there are no restrictions on the sale of body armor.
