Bottle Safe
My newborn is drinking about 5 oz per bottle. Is it safe to give him 2 1/2 scoops of formula?
I am a little concerned about how much powder formula to give my 5 week old son. He is drinking about 5 oz per bottle. I know that he is supposed to have 1 scoop for every 2 oz of water. Since he is drinking 5 oz is it safe to give him 2 1/2 scoops?
I don't think there will a problem with that. When my little one was drinking 5 ounces, we bought a formula shaker. You pour the water in, add the formula powder, screw on the top and shake. It's specially made so that you can mix up the entire days formula and it breaks up the clumps of formula. One of the best things we invested in! Ours was only 8 dollars at Babies R Us.

How long is it safe to drink from an opened water bottle? If I drink from a bottle of palin water, is it safe?
If I drink from a bottle of water at night, is it safe to drink from it the next day if I screw the cap back on?
Yep, sure is!
Well, at least that's what I've been doing for years now and I don't get sick from it 
This morning I had a drink from a bottle that was about 5 days open, and I'll probably throw out the rest, but it's not a big issue!
