Burglar Burglary
What can I legally use for self defense?
I am 15 years old and there has been a couple of burglary's in my area. It is just me and my mum in the house and if we got burgled I think it would be my duty to protect my and my mum if I had to, but I am only small and couldn't really fight.
So what could I legally use to protect me and my mum from a burglar?
In the UK, there's practically nothing left you can legally have... especially at 15 'cos you need to be either 16 or 18 to buy a knife for starters.
Only thing I'm aware of that IS legal is some stuff called "Bouncer Spray"

You can legally use "reasonable force" if there is an intruder actually in the house, but the law is extremely patchy on just what reasonable force is..... there was going to be a debate on in parliment a few years ago to clarify it once and for all, but the Labour idiots hijacked the debate and it ran out of time.

Joke about a Burglary!?
A Burglar is breaking into a house by climbing in the window.As he opens the window ..he see's 2 Dobermans sitting at the end of the couch. The dogs make no comotion so,he climbs into the house and starts stuffing items into his Pillow case! Then he hears a voice say "Who's there?"Still no comotion so he continues on with his burglary. Again "Who's There?" He is done and ready to go...So before he climbs back out the window he opens the door to the hallway and looks down..There is a Parrott sitting on a Perch at the end of the Hallway saying"Who;s there?" he replies "Stupid Bird Don't you know how to say anything else?" The Parrott replied ..."SICK EM"
