Button Alarm Device
Where can I buy a small multi-alarm that you can record your own voice on? Read on for more?
I'm looking for a small device (like the size of a keychain up to the size of a drink coaster, something around that size), that can be used as a reminder alarm. My mother uses inhalers & forgets to do them, if I'm not here to remind her. She has 3 diff kinds. So I need something that would allow me to set it for 4-5 different times a day. At those time, I'd like for it remind her to do the inhalers. I want to be able to record my own message, so I can tell her which inhaler to use. I'd like for it to keep repeating itself, until she pushes a button to stop it. I don't want it to be too expensive. Does something like this exist? I've tried looking it up, but don't know how to word it in short enough of a description to do a search. Thanks!
You know, I've never thought about such a device. What an excellent concept.
I did some quick searching around for "timed voice reminder" among other things and found a product called "Voice Cue" at several shops. Here's one link:

At 2 1/2” x 4 3/8” x 5/8” it's a little large perhaps? I'm willing to bet there are other similar devices out there too. Hope this helps!

I was so intrigued by this idea that I kept looking. I ran across a few "wristwatch" sized items. While they don't speak, they can be programmed to display the name of the medication. Assuming your dear mum can read the display, maybe this would be OK? Here are a few examples:

There are also response teams that give out 24/7 monitoring service for a monthly bill. This is the best home security alarm system although it would cost also a considerable sum. The best system works best if one does it for you, e.g. like a personal nurse/bodyguard. And who is the best qualified (except for the personal bodyguard/nurse/butler) than a team of medical personnel watching your routine and making sure you took medicine.
