Cabinet Legal Safe
Can a gas stove go on top of vinyl floor? How about the sink?
We need to install a temporary, cheap floor in the kitchen (to qualify for mortgage). Thinking of sheets of vinyl, poorly adhered to the floor (so will come up easily) - something else to figure out.
The room is a nice rectangle with no appliances (yet).
Is it ok (legal / safe) to cover the whole floor and then slide the appliances and temporary cabinets on top of that? It will all come out after we convert to a conventional loan (doing things "right" is taking too long and we want to get out of this construction loan).
Particualrly the gas stove? It is currently sitting on the plywood floor. Would we cut the vinyl to go around it, or just make a hole for the gas line and put the stove on top?

Placing the stove (any) over the vinyl flooring is a very common practice and actually there is no code for this so go ahead and do it same withe the cabinet system. Its neater and cleaner allso

Is it legal for my landlord to want to put up broken kitchen cabinets after they fell down?
Hello! my kitchen cabinnets above the sink fell down 2 days ago, im pregnant and i thank GOD that i did not get hurt. i informed her right away, 2 days later the super went to my apartment to check it out and to fix it, the cabinets are broken and as per the landlord she ordered him to put them back up, i told her that i refused to have put up broken cabinets its not safe for me or for my daugther, she said i have no choice and she has no money to buy new ones that if i wanted to buy new ones she will only deduct $100.00 from my rent, the same day i went everywhere to price them its over $300.00, Is it legal what she is doing? what can or should i do?
100% legal. She can repair, she does not have to replace. They are HER cabinets.
