Camp Rock Combination
Camp rock...recycling other Disney plots?
Ok, so last night I watched Camp Rock, and I liked it, but as I watched it, I noticed it was almost like a combination of the first and second HSM movies and A Cinderella Story, just a camp version. For example, Mitchie [Demi Lovato], was shy at first and was afraid to sing in front of people. Like Gabriella. Shane Gray [Joe Jonas] was a popular celebrity. Troy Bolton, is a popular kid at his high school. Shane hears Mitchie sing and goes out on a search for her. Austin [Chad Michael Murray] meets his Cinderella, but never finds out her true identity, then searches for her. Shane, feels betrayed when he fins out Mitchie has been lying. Gabriella feels betrayed by Troy because she's convinced that he's like all the other basketball players. Give me your opinion on what you think. And just to clear this up, I LIKE CAMP ROCK, THIS ISN'T MEANT TO TRASH THE MOVIE.
I definitely agree.
It also reminded me of The Little Mermaid....
In Camp Rock, Shane hears Mitchie singing, falls in love, and then searches all over for her. Then when he hears her sing in the end, he knows she "the girl"... Just like Prince Eric and Ariel.

I'm looking for the title of movie... do you know it?
The movie has to do with a band and possibly has the combination of rock, summer, and band in the title. I believe disney made it, however it IS NOT CAMP ROCK. Please help me!!!
