How does Moody's AAA bond rating work as an indicator for interest rates?
I read on Wikipedia that Moody's AAA bond rating reflects interest rates. I really would like to know why so I can write up about it in my dissertation. I need interest rate data but nothing goes as far back as the 1920s in America. Moody's AAA bond rating would be a perfect replacement if I can just find out why it's so good for determining interest rates!
A company with a high Moody's rating can borrow money at a low interest rate. The "rating" tells the public that this company has been researched and can be trusted to stay in business ( and therefore , pay their debts).
Before General Motors bankruptcy, they had to offer 9% on their bonds to attract investors. Other companies were paying 4%

How do I get roadside assistance without being a member of AAA?
My wife and I share a car, she is a member of AAA, I am not. I am on her auto insurance so that I can use the car. Who am I going to call in case I have a problem with the car on the road?
