Can Chapstick Pill
Why do my lips get chapped easily if I dont use chapstick or lipgloss?
I need to use it daily. Every single day. If I don't its practically a guarantee I will get chapped lips. It could be that I don't drink water. I don't like the taste. I don't like juice either. I only drink diet coke. Yes I know that its bad.
My skin also gets pretty dry easily. Always gotta put on lotions. So..is water really that important? Do I really HAVE to drink it? What's the root of the problem? Why do I dry easily? Should I see a doctor or something?
I really hate water and healthy juices. Even if they are cold. I hate all healthy drinks. I tried drinking them and I really don't enjoy them. I rather not drink anything at all. ;_;
What can I use to replace them? Any specific vitamins? I rather just take pills.
You need to use an all natural lip balm/chapstick whatever you want to call it. A lot of chapsticks and especially lipgloss contains petroleum in them. This forms a barrier around your lips which sends signals to your skin that tells it to release internal moisture. It makes your lips feel better quickly, but in the long run, it's drying your lips out faster than if you just left them alone. You need to find a nourishing, all natural lip balm that will actually moisturize your lips instead of drawing out internal moisture. If that doesn't work, I used to put normal body lotion on my lips and it worked better than chapstick. As for the vitamins, I'm not sure which specific ones, but I started taking One A Day multivitamins and it seems to be helping with a lot more than just my skin.

What is the best sub for chapstick?
Stuff you can use around your house. Like stuff you'd already have and no pills or medicine..just like normal household stuff
*vaseline
*olive oil (any other kind of oil is TOO thick and could clog your pores around your mouth)
*crisco (i think this might clog pores, but i've heard this works)
*lotion
*eye cream
i know you asked not to include pills or medicine, BUT...
vitamin E liquid capsule -- prick it with a pin/sewing needle and apply with your fingers or q-tip. vitamin E is found regularly in lip products as it's a great moisturizer.
