Was there ever an official line from the writers on why he didnt lose weight on the island? I am up to the end of series 3 and all I can remember was a few characters making jokes about it. I know he had that secret stash of food but that was a while ago wasnt it!?!
I think it's just some ongoing joke that the writers are having. There's loads of weird happenings on the island and I'm not talking about The Others.
