Case Oak Wood
How can I make fondant look like wood? How do I make that light brown?
I know not to kneed the color in the whole way to leave streaks, but what color(s) would I use to make it look like oak?
*I only tried the entertainment section in case someone caught it on Ace of Cakes or Cake Boss or something.
just add dots of brown and barely mix it so that it has streaks of darker and lighter browns if you want to go all out just take a small knife and make patterns on it to make it more "realistic"!!!!!!!! =D

What glue for a composite Longbow?
I'm just dabbling in composite longbow making, and the last one I made came apart. This is because I used this Bostick brand all-purpose glue at first, then used PVA wood glue. What glue do I need to use so the damn thing stays together?
(The bow is made of Tasmanian Oak, also known as Mountain Ash, just in case the wood makes a difference)
Also, does the wood have to be roughened up -like with a rasp- before being glued?
Try Gorilla Glue.
