What is the radio code for a Vauxhall Corsa and how do you input the code?
I recently bought a 2002 Vauxhall Corsa and the radio/cassette player worked. This morning while I was driving to work I noticed that the display said "SAFE" and realised this has something to do with the radio. This happened in my old car when the battery died and thus reset the radio, but the Corsa is fine and I dont know what has caused.
Where can I get the code? and how do i input it?
Presuming its the original radio , contact a Vauxhall dealer with your VIN no (long alpha/numeric code on a plate in the engine compartment) and they will be able to tell you the code (some charge)
To input the code just use the buttons on the front of the radio generally numbered 1 to 6 and the code will be a combination of these numbers

Can anyone that have knowledge of cars, breakdown the average mileage for purchasing a used car or truck.

I believe its a very good deal to make...As much as I know Honda is one of the best brand to purchase...they don't dreak down easily....and they also don't trouble as much as others...the mileages are ok, they are pretty low....and try to get the price around $8000-8500.

My wife's 1999 Beetle had 90,000 super-reliable fun filled miles on it .Sold it to buy a Jetta.
The Beetle had only 1 repair on it this entire time. The water pump was replaced at abt. 70,000 miles (we had the timing belt replaced too at the same time). Most cars, including VW should have a timing belt replacement at abt 80,000.
Be sure to check the service record of ANY car you buy. (oil/filter changes, etc.)
The Beetle when properly maintained, will be a delightful-to-own car for you. Ours sure was!! Every time she sees a Beetle my wife says she misses hers (we had to have a 4-door, thus the Jetta purchase).
However, if VW ever makes a 4-door Beetle, my wife would be 1st in line…..
