my cat found a cockitile in my front yard a few yrs. ago. why does he bite?

i bought a dummys book to learn about him. he's a very good bird. he never squaks and loves his cage. the only prblm is he bites, hard. i heard he's like that cause he has a tweeting mirror. i hate to take it out cause he likes it so much. also next to his cage is a talking thermometer that he has fallen in love with. he sits on his out of cage perch and pecks at it when it talks. underneath that we have spare keyrings that he drops on the cats when they sit at the front door to go out. it's a riot.

I doubt that the mirror is causing the biting. I had one that I adopted when he was already 10 years old. He had been so abused for so long that he never trusted hands and would bite anyone who tried to touch him. He also screeched and screamed constantly. I never knew why.

If this bird hasn't been severely abused, it can be fairly easy to get him out of biting. First remove him from his cage(a towel can be used so you don't get bit). Take him to a room that he isn't used to, if he has never been in the room it works best. Let him go(you may want to clip his wings first). He will cling to you because you are the only familiar thing to him. This allows the two of you to bond, and he will see you as a safe place instead of a threat.

This worked with the female cockatiel I have. She was also a rescue from an abusive home.

EU ban on cat and dog fur trade

London- Market stall in Oxford street Xmas market with cute paisley animals and purses!!?

I went to London in December, and there was a christmas market in oxford street with nice little stalls. There was one in particular selling sort of goofy home made animals, as like plush toys, purses, keyrings etc. I brought a cat one and i wanted to have a look at more, but cannot remember the name of the stall ! I really want to look them up.

Any ideas!?!

Street vendors usually don't stick around for too long and a lot are seasonal so you may not be able to find them. Buy it online of you are unable to locate them.
