Changer Unit
Can I place my cd changer in my glove comparment, instead of the trunk? Will it harm the unit?
It should be fine. I've switched mine between three cars. Once under the driver's seat, once under the passenger's seat, once in the trunk. As long as it's mounted securely, you should be OK. They don't get hot or anything. In fact, a lot of new cars have a multi-disc CD changer built into the in-dash radio. A lot of custom car builders put the entire stereo system behind the dash or in the glove box so you can't see it without opening a panel.
