How to get my combat boots nice and shiny?
Hey, Cadet Airman Basic Conant here. I joined the CAP about a month ago and my boots are frustrating me. Whenever I shine them, the tip always seems to be much shinier than the rest of the boot, and no amount of extra shining is helping! Advice?
light your Kiwi on fire for a few seconds ( just until it pools ) then coat your boot quickly & be generous with the polish.
right after your done with the coat use cold water & a cloth to remove the excess polish. You will want to do so by using small circles with your index finger and your middle finger. once you are done removing the polish you need to buff your boot with a fine thread cloth.
repeat with second boot.
Or you can cheat and for about $70 you can have you boots dipped & glossed. they'll shine like a mirror for about 12 to 18 months.

Which Combat Boot Is Better?
Alright. I have been in Civil Air Patrol for about a month now. I don't have my uniform I am going to start by buying a pair of combat boots. I've found two that I'm trying to decide between.
The first:

The first is corcoran and the second is HH brand. Which of these two boots are better. If you have another boot in mind that is better than both of these let me know. Thanks!
COCORANs are flipping amazing. I never felt that kind of comfort in shoes in my life.
