Combo Lock Security Bike lock advice. which one is better?
okay so i'm buying a bike right now and i'm wondering what type of lock is best. there are the cable ones and the u locks. i'd like to know which one is more secure and if a key lock is better than a combo. security is the main priority, but convienience would be nice as well.
I believe the best type of lock is the U Lock. A good U lock is the most difficult to break. Cable locks can secure your bike if the environment does not lend itself to be stolen. It basically keeps honest or folks in low crime areas honest. The thicker the cable the stronger the lock.
I use the kryptonite U lock and it has allowed me to leave my bike in less than desirable locations ie. business districts with out worrying about it being stolen. If you really want to protect use a good U lock and a cable to protect the tires etc.
Since I leave the cable lock on my bike all the time I bought one with a combination.

There is a ex-bff of mine that's kind of crazy. let's just call her gabi. Well, i just got my locker assignments, and i got gabi's older sister's locker!!!!!!! Gabi and i have had a raging battle for two years. i am not looking to make amends. i just want to know if there is some sort of security system that i can use to set an alarm if gabi opens my locker? my school offers no reassignments under any circumstance. i know gabi has my combo (the locks never get changed). what should i do?
just buy a new locker lock. or ask to be moved or just ask a teacher.
