Decorated Fox
Do you like this poem ?
please be honest, this poem was written when i was actually doing this and i was about 13 at the time.
its called ' when the whole world is sleeping'
When the whole world is sleeping,
i crawl to the end of my bed,
where i sit on my window sill,
gazing through the glass panel.
Outside the grass lays still,
as jack frost decorates it,
like a layer of icing sugar,
That glistens before my eyes.
Shadows of trees dance in the moonlight
As the silent breeze whispers by.
I look up at the sky,
and the stars look back at me,
shining in their beauty.
The clock in my room,
ticks way beyond midnight,
but I feel so alive and awake inside.
A little red fox scatters past,
showing off its long black socks,
and perfectly groomed tail.
A small golden glow appears over the horizon,
as I sink back into my bed,
waiting for the whole word to wake.
I actually liked it! It was pretty good! Well, that's an understatement, most adults could not write a poem this well, so you have a lot of raw talent in my opinion.

What do you think of Montel Williams' comments on FOX?
I'm an infrequent watcher of Montel. I think he has some really good shows at times, and has stayed more true to his own morals than people like Maury or Jerry Springer. However, I don't like the fact that he brings Sylvia Browne out to con people each week...
Regardless, I was really glad to see his comments about the excessive Heath Ledger coverage on FOX. I know some people think it was disrespectful to Ledger, but honestly, I found that he was actually trying to GIVE Heath some respect by telling the reporters that people needed to let him rest in peace, basically, and focus on important matters..
There are also those who think he was insincere. I understand that, because it was a strange time to mention it, but he IS a decorated veteran, and I'm glad that SOMEONE spoke up.
What did you think about it?
I think the media makes far too much of celebrity deaths. So many of them die because of the lifestyles they live: alcohol, drugs, parties; parties; parties! And then when a good one dies of some dreaded disease, it's only mentioned in passing. As usual, the media gets it all wrong.
