carbon deposits vs engine type?

Do carbon deposits develop more on one engine type versus another?

I'm talking about internal combustion engines - gas, diesel, rotary, etc

worse on gas piston engines that run unleaded fuel. the reason i mention unleaded is airplanes still run lead in their fuel. it reduces engine knock, heat and build up.

Deposit insurance has risen rapidly over the last few years across the world. It was brought into renewed prominence with the reform of the system in the United States in the 1980s after the Savings and Loans crisis, and was accelerated by the rash of financial crises that have struck Europe, Asia and South America in recent years. The contributions to this volume strike a fascinating balance between the interest of regulators, the view of academics as to how the issues should be handled, and the interests of banks and their depositors. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In geology, a placer deposit or placer is an accumulation of valuable minerals formed by deposition of dense mineral phases in a trap site. The name is from the Spanish word placer, meaning alluvial sand. Types of placer deposits include alluvium, eluvium, beach placers, and paleoplacers. Typical locations for alluvial placer deposits are on the inside bends of rivers and creeks, in natural hollows, at the break of slope on a stream, the base of an escarpment, waterfall or other barrier, within sand dunes, beach profiles or in gravel beds. Securikey 'Steel Stor DR48' Rotary Deposit Safe

Does anyone know how to clean the barrel on the gamo CFX? and with what materials?

i cant use a rod and patches because of the rotary breach. so im kinda stuck on how to just do a basic clean up inside the barrel to get rid of excess lead deposits to insure accuracy. And i don't want to stick anything down into the muzzle to the breach.Going the opposite way of the pellets. Thanks for looking!

I own a Gamo CFX 1000fps in .177 cal

To give my gun a quick clean i use a little squirt of gun oil down the bore from the hatch/rotary breach then fire a round down the barrel.
I repeated this at least five times in a row adding more oil each fire
This gets most of the pieces out.

If this fails then you might have to do what you didn't want to do.
"And i don't want to stick anything down into the muzzle to the breach.Going the opposite way of the pellets"

The following process is slightly dangerous so take caution.
It also requires the gun to be cocked and then fired with the rotary breach still open. This makes keeps the rotary breach open and gun not cocked and ready to fire.

1) First squirt some gun or sewing oil into the muzzle (but not to much)

2) Then use a .17 cal wire brush on the end of my cleaning rod and push the brush from the muzzle down to the rotary breach
(you should see the end of the brush JUST sticking out of the rotary breach.)
(Do not try to force the brush up through the ramp of the rotary breach because it will just bend the brush and make it hard to pull back out)

3) Then pull the brush back down the bore to the barrel.
Repeat this a few times till you are satisfied.

Hope this Helps
