Detection Fingerprint
is this a good informative speech topic?
my dad works at the county jail, he's the administrator. and i have to do a 6-15 minute speech for school. i was thinking about doing it on the jail? i could talk about inmate identification and fingerprinting lie detection tests...basically the inner workings of it all. would this be interesting to 15/16/17 year olds? i could get tons of pictures too because he works there, like of the cells and such. thanks in advancee!

what chemistry is used in the detection of fingerprints?
i need to write a 2 page essay about the chemistry used in the detection of fingerprints and i searched it but i can't find out anything i dont even know the name of the chemistry
Basically chemicals are reacted with the oil residue left by the fingers, and the reaction turns the residue into a highly visible color.
