Dog Training Item

How do you train your dog to retrieve certain items to you on command?

such as,

Macy go get your leash
Macy go get your ball
Macy go get the remote

Not EVERY item just a couple, but how do i teach this where she can understand it? (btw, she's an australian shepherd, and shes the most intelligent dog i've EVER seen in my life, WOW!)

First off, shorten your commands so she is learning

Leash
Ball
Remote

If she already retrieves then that's great, work really hard on that, and then when she is reliable, start playing with her with the item you want (perhaps don't start with the remote!) and then drop it, so she will go to pick it up again to continue the game, and reward that heavily and carry on until she will give it to you, then move things further away from you. I always use 'hold' to mean 'retrieve' and add the name in when the dog is picking the item up, so 'keys hold' 'phone hold' etc.

Train one item at a time, and when she's got it teach her to go and find the item from wherever you keep it by taking her there and using the command you are using. As she gets better at that, start her off from a bit further away until she can go and find things she can't see.

Good luck - it's great having a dog fetch and carry for you. My dog gets my socks off the radiator, brings me my phone when it rings and will find my keys if I've dropped them. He's a terrier.

Hi!
There are no such things as cheats for that UNLESS you get action replay.
Action replay is a card thing just like the DS games that you put in that slot, and it has a slot to put the game in the slot (ill give you the link to a picture of it) and you put the game in there and it gives you cheats that ONLY action replay can do. Its Genius!
