When the DC crime rate drops by double digits will gun contol freaks finally shut up?
the safest cities in the US are the ones with the least amount of gun control such as Boise ID and Kennesaw GA
Contrast that with high gun control municipalities such as St Louis, Chicago, and DC
Michael, if you were packing you might be able to do something about being stuck up in chicago
Well, as always, emotions run high on the issue of gun control. Personally, I come pretty close to being a liberal Democrat, until you get to to issue of gun control. There is just too much compelling data to indicate that, yes, crime rates go down when citizens own, and even carry, guns.
And apparently, most of the crime is not deterred by Joe Citizen shooting a bad guy, burglar, robber, etc. Just brandishing a firearm does the trick most of the time. Discharging the gun into the air also seems to work very well. And if they're still being aggressive at that point, well...
I have to mention a great book, "Deer Hunting with Jesus." Author's name escapes me. Some good statistics and studies cited there to support your point of view. (OK, our point of view.)
You know, we need the idealists in the world, the people who believe that everything will be ok as long as we put a white light around us, peace, love, and happiness, etc.
But we also need folks with a rational mind and a steady aim.

Can I Saw The Barrel Off My Shotgun ? ?
Would it be safe to saw the barrel of my doubled barrel shotgun.
With a metal cutting instrument such as a angel grinder or a hack saw.
Also, i want to cut the barrel right down to about 12 inches, is that legal. If i mess this up, will that mean the gun might back fire or wont fire at all.
you can if you wish to, But if your a responsible certificate holder why would you want to and whats more why do you not no the laws about somthing you say you use.
The law states thet the barrel should be no less than 60.96 cm (24 inches) in length and does not have any barrel with a bore that exceeds 5.08 cm (2 inches), in diameter
