I have a dri-rod dehumidifier. It has the power cord. Is it suppose to be hot to the touch? Mine is so hot. I have it laying on the floor of the safe. Is this safe having it be so hot?

This dehumidifier needs no power, just hang the Eva-Dry unit in a closet and it will start to adsorb moisture.
