Electronic Home Office Any jobs out there doing medical transcription at home??
Right now I work full time for a physician's office as a Medical Asst and also do their transcription at home after hours and on the weekends. We are going to an Electronic system this week so that means my 2nd job is going no longer happen!! I was wondering if there are any jobs out there to do medical transcription at home where you dont have to take a test to qualify. I have looked on Monster jobs and MT jobs but nothing so far has panned out. I love doing transcription and I hate to lose it!! I am going to be so bored plus I love the extra money! Anyone have any suggestions??
Why don't you want to take a test to qualify? You want a company who does not know you, to hire you to work from home, with no supervision and have no proof that you can do the job? You are going to be trusted with people's medical information!
No one is going to hire you without a test and references! By not wanting to take the test it sounds like you're hiding something.

Would You Trust The UK Government With A Record Of All Your Phonecalls And Emails...?
The UK Government are considering plans to create a new super-database to hold records of every email and text sent and phonecall made by private individuals. This is line with an EU anti-terror directive (surprise surprise) that was created after the 7/7 bombings.
So, the question is, do you trust the Government to have this data given their propensity for losing personal information? Or are you quite happy for this info to be stored on a Government database in their effort to win the war on terror?

Ministers are to consider plans for a database of electronic information holding details of every phone call and e-mail sent in the UK, it has emerged.
The plans, reported in the Times, are at an early stage and may be included in the draft Communications Bill later this year, the Home Office confirmed.
A Home Office spokesman said the data was a "crucial tool" for protecting national security and preventing crime.
It makes you wonder just how many civil servants we tax payers are going to have to pay for, to completely loose our freedom. I've heard of this before, however the war against terror is a lame excuse - If the government really want to do something about it, they should simply deport the foreigners, including the home bred ones - unless it's against their human rights. (cough). I am aware that vote rigging machines exist, which will make the next election interesting to say the least - but imagine what a government could do if it knew you were against it ? Instant imprisonment perhaps. What an interesting regime we could have.
I have a critical tool for Gordon Brown in my shed. It's called a cattle prod.
The first ones you mention are essentially "office jobs." Anything connected with nursing or "hands on" medical technicians are clinical.
