Electronic Safe Opener
What do I do when my iTouch fell in the water?
My sister spilled a water on my iTouch. When the water spilled, the iTouch still turn on but the screen wont read me. I try to slide it open but i cant! The water still there when i tried to open it btw..
Yeah, so i tapped the water out from the charger hole and the water came out.
About then 10 mins, let it sit on my table and it dried. I heard like a popping sound (not loud though) from the charger hole.
When it stop popping, i put it in a uncooked rice. Then 5 hours later, my iTouch got warm. Then i leave it (still in a rice) it got cold again..
My friend told me to put it in a rice for a few days just to be safe (the iTouch might go BOOM~)
Does the rice thing work? If not, i could just bring it to a electronic store or Apple. I dont want to wait =___=

Do not turn it on put it in a bucket of rice i promise you that will help.
Thats what i do. leave it in rice for about 2 days....Good Luck
Dont bring it to the apple store they will take it for a few weeks and than come back to tell you have to pay about 300 dollars

Anyone familiar with opening internet CD's?
Apparently you can only open the account with a electronic transfer of funds. Safe? Fees? Thank you.
Use ING. No fees that I know of. Very safe. FDIC insured up to $100,000.
Due you own due diligence, but I use ING and love it. I have a savings acct, a ShareBuilder acct and have had a CD in the past. Always easy to transfer money into and out of my accounts.
