What is the reliability of the Indian EVMs when there is no paper trail left for physical proof?
The machines only display an electronic number but there is no paper trail to cross check against as physical proof of who people acutally voted for. No Electronic machines are safe from hacking or rigging.

Yes, without a paper trail this is definitely a problem. What would stop a hacker from changing millions of votes? Without paper ballots to check manually, I think this would happen often.

Do you know anyone that has been a victum of identy theft from filling the FAFSA online?
I am a high school senior and I am tring to fill out the FAFSA online, in order to do that your need a pin number that acts as you electronic signature. I have got one, but my father doesn't not want to do it because he doesn't want to put his social security number online. Do you think it is safe?
it is a secure site, so tell him that. look on your computer, you will see a little lock looking icon when you are on a secure site...show him that and tell him its a secure, locked site. but your dad is right about just letting your SS # loose on the web or anywhere. there are 10 million people a year who have their ID stolen... and todays trend is to steal kids ID's. it takes thousands of dollars to straiten it (by fighting it) and a long time to put things right.
heres some links for you to help with schooling. you may have to contact some and ask what they offer, when the deadline is, and what they require from you (usually an essay).
try to aim for grants/scholarships more... they are not to be paid back. its confusing sometimes, but just keep applying.
every big (and small) company you see (manufacturer, orgs, corps and groups also) all have grants and scholarships they hand out like candy.
heres a link with a HUGE amount of some available. some you will need to copy and paste into a new window. also, fastweb (take the time to fill it in) will search databases and get back to you with a list of scholarships you qualify for.
Also contact all mens, womens associations in your state, they almost always have grants & scholarships. What ever field you are going into, contact the orgs, associations etc for them; Also check with professional organizations related to your career interests, such as the American Bar Association or the American Medical Association. they also always have scholarships. Research and dig, call then write. Its all worth it.
OVER apply; it doesnt hurt to have too many, and the extra funds can help with housing.
