Fire Safe Inner
is this herpes?
my genitals are on fire - not my shaft, not my balls, but my upper pubic area and upper inner thighs have been burning for 2.5 days. I had a safe sex one night stand Friday night. I have no warts or blisters. No sore throat, but I had a slight fever Tuesday. I got tested Tuesday and was clean but that was only 3 days after possible xposure. Is this herpes? If it is, how long until my genital bonfire goes away? Please help me
If it is herpes, when will the blisters come?
False negatives are very common... It might be herpes... are you sure you were tested for herpes, because in most cases you have to specifically ask you doc for it.
You don't ALWAYS get blisters from herpes. The symptoms very from person to person. You might not ever get blisters if you have a high immune system.
I would suggest that you go to wal-mart and buy yourself some "herplex" its all natural, so even if its not herpes it wouldnt hurt to see if it subdues your burning until you go back to the doc (in the pharmacy area, near the chapsticks in a red box)... I would most defiantly go back to the doc though!!!
Like most of the others have said, safe sex DOES NOT fully protect you from herpes. She doesnt even have to have an outbreak or blisters to pass it to you. Its called "asymptomatic shedding" and you shed the virus about 6-18% of the days that you don't have any symptoms. So if you have herpes, you really dont know when you are contagious or not.

Teachers....what about the movie HALF NELSON?
As a teacher the movie was painful to watch....really painful and embarassing...but the movie was loaded with realistic political topics. I find myself sensitive to these kind of movies. He definitely should of been fired. I wish the girl would of told. I felt for her and her struggles. I teach in the inner city and it's sad that kids have to live thru so much. I would hope that they could come to school, feel safe- free from the drama of the streets. That teacher let those kids down...what a great role mode... I felt really sad.
