Gauge Steel Pistol
have a browning 12 gauge auto 3in mag made in belguin bought mid 50s ser#ov29247 would like any info about it.
also has special steel stamped on barrel.browning etched on receiver along with vine patterns pistol grip stock inherited would like to know anything about it
made in 1960. v in serial means its a 12gauge mag. guess it wasnt bought in mid 50's. i just got on brownings web site and got there phone # and then called them and had them run the serial number. this is all the info they could give me. hope its helpful.

Hand checked pistol grip, and forearm, select forged steel, proof tested barrels, 30 inch barrels with Modified and Full choke.* Who Manufactured it for Wards? How long were they in production?, serial number is 69581, What year was this one Manufactured?* It is Case Hardened on receiver.*
The same as a Stevens 5100 built for Wards.
Should have been made sometime between 1931 and 1941.
150-350.00 in fair to excellent condition for a Stevens. Being a less fancy wards gun maybe 125-275.00.
