Geese Take
How do I take care of goose eggs?
I rescued these goose eggs by a large lake. They seemed to be NOT in a nest. Just on the ground. A goose egg needs to be around 90 degrees somethin and it was that temperature outside! Now they are in a huge tin can outside and the sun shines on the tin can and it collects heat and it gets really warm in the tin can, but not hot hot or else it will fry the eggs! Do you think they have a chance of surviving? And plus I already researched about goose eggs, but do you think they will survive?
Next time, leave the eggs alone. Some geese don't build nests; they just sort of find a kind of shallow hole and sit on their eggs.
Get the eggs to rehab. Don't try to take care of them yourself. And a tin can... your best bet is a heat lamp, and towels or tissues to insulate the eggs. Don't depend on the sun or the weather! These eggs require more care than most people can give.
Seriously, please try to contact rehab as soon as possible. Let them handle it.

How long until my new born baby geese can walk and dry off?
My baby geese just hatched and i dont know how long it will take for them to dry off and be able to walk? can anyone help?!?!
My baby geese just hatched and i dont know how long it will take for them to dry off and be able to walk? i dont have the mother only the two eggs. and i dont have a regular incubator, just a home made one. can anyone help?!?!
They will be up and about in no time. Generally by the time they are dry they will be on their feet. They will dry quicker under mum. We generally leave them under mum for a day and then collect them. We house our gooslings seperate from the parents and under cover to stop to stop predatory birds and animals taking them. Doing this we are able to get nearly 100% survival rate
