Where do i buy a glock hand gun the type the holds alot of bullets?
Dose any1 know the age to buy a gun the procedures , and also like how long it takes to buy a hand gun.

You will need to be 21 years of age...and then take your drivers liscence to a Gun Shop and ask for a Glock model 17...it is a 9mm that hold 17 bullets. A good price would be $559

Are the 1911's worth the money?
Love the look and feel of the 1911's, but at $800+, just wondering if they're worth the money. For half the price, you can get a Glock or Springfield XD (which I already own and love) and have an extremely relieable gun with twice the round capacity that doesn't require an enormous amount of time breaking down and cleaning. Don't get me wrong, I love the 1911's and am looking for justification to buy one. Can anyone out there convince me to get one?

I have been sitting here thinking about your question. It seems that $800 is a great deal of money. Then, I remembered back to the late 1980s when I was paying roughly $400 for Colt Series 70 1911 pistols in 99% condition. Here we are 20 years later and those guns are selling for possibly $800 ? That's a bargain! I generally expect guns, bought and put in a safe and not used, to appreciate in value by about 7% a year. That means they double in value every 10 years. So, a $400 Colt purchased in 1989 should be worth $800 in 1999 and $1,600 in 2009!
If you can buy a Colt series 70 in 99% condition for under $1,000 today, I would say you are not just getting a deal, you are getting a steal.
In pondering the answer to this question, I need only look at all the posts extolling the merits of such fine arms as the NEF and H&R break-action shotguns with plastic stocks, retailing at Wally World for about $100. What ever happened to the days when people bought their sons and daughters a nice Marlin model 39 lever gun in 22 rimfire as a first rifle?
People seem to think it's ok to spend $1,000 on a desktop computer or a flat screen TV, and watch the value drop to near zero in a matter of 5 years. But, they want to "go cheap" when it comes to buying a quality American manufactured handgun, rifle or shotgun?

The thing is that this has been a one way fight since the Brady Bill was defeated. All of the $$$ is lined up behind the gun lobby. We have zero national leaders with the guts to stand up for what we all know is right for the people of the country.We need to have a published list of how much Gun Money each elected official gets each election cycle.Then we need to organize voting against the Gunzies.
