Gloss Ivory
Makeup for black hair, blue eyes, fair skin?
I have jet black hair, blue eyes and REALLY fair skin (When buying foundation, it matches the "Classic Ivory" shade)
So my question is, what colors of eye liner, eye shadow, mascara, blush, lip gloss, etc, should I buy that will compliment my skin tone and hair/eye colors?
We sound similar, except that my eyes are light green! I think that fair skin works well with classic colours, monochromes and naturals. Though I'm only speaking for myself, I find that with fairer skin, it's easier to achieve a classic vintage style. I'm a fan of old-world glamour, and us pale girls look fantastic with it. With your eyes, different shades of greys, charcoals and violets look stunning and can really make your eyes brighten up. Really dramatic lipsticks also look awesome, and cat's eyes with liquid liner. I would say that with blushers, you should avoid anything brown. Peachy tones and nudes work best with fair skin. And remember to be very subtle with it!
A totally different yet equally effective look is the smokey eyes, thick black liner as well as along the top of your lid following the lash line. Smudging it outwards onto your lip and then blending with a lighter colour should get a really smouldering look. Team this with nude or pale lips!
