Gloves Tough
Girl needs boots for riding a motorcycle. How tough do they have to be?
My boyfriend rides and I've agreed to try it some time.
I'm a girly girl and an elementary music teacher. My shoe closet is full of flip-flips, sandals and sparkly high heels. This boots and leather and gloves thing is very far out of my comfort zone.
How tough do my boots have to be? Where can I get something cheap? I might only go once, be terrified and wait another 28 years to try it again. (I'll try to be brave!!! I hear the vibration part is nice 
He's got helmets and a pair of gloves for me. He won't let me on until I'm properly protected. He was talking about a jacket with armour!! :O
Hi, Chuck! His oldest brother was killed in a motorcycle crash several years ago. He's very cautious now and that's good for me. I don't like to worry about my man!!

I teach the equivalent of the MSF course. What we require our students to wear is something flat-soled that covers the entire foot and protects the ankle. Hiking boots are probably the most cost-effective option. Perhaps you have a girlfriend who is into hiking who can lend you something. Ankle injuries are among the most common for riders.
Riding WITHOUT protection is what should be outside your "comfort zone". It sounds like your boyfriend has enough concern for your safety that you should have no worries about riding with him, assuming that he is an experienced (absolute minimum one full year) rider.

How do I change my daily image at school?
People at school see me as a fighter and someone you really don't want to mess with and I think that is the reason that guys don't like me. I mean, who wants a girlfriend that is tougher than them? I need help showing everyone that there is more to me than just boxing gloves. Thanks =)
I grew up with five brothers and four older cousins, it isn'tt a surprise that Imyselff also had a problem as similar as yours. I used to think that I was a fighter and a tough girl that i practically not just scared away boys but completelydidn't't get their interest at all.
I remember trying so hard to change and become all girlish and frilly when suddenly one of my cousins realized this and i admitted to him that I had a problem attracting the y-chromosome species. He suddenly laughed and not long after that I found out why.
The key in image change is-first of all, you have to know why your changing and into what your changing into. If your just changing to get boys then you probably well just get that, but seriously...is that all that you really want? you want ppl to understand you and respect you for your believes and not forget that you are a woman, strong and independent, but still a woman at heart.
Its ok to be yourself and love yourself for being tough, but maybe you could add on a few smiles here and there and a few skirts that would make you a bit more feminine. Enjoy the woman clothing because obviously that was what we were borned to do. I myself still where jeans and slacks but I match them with a nice hairdo or a pretty cute blouse so i still bring my feminine side.
