How to give up on love for good?
OK, I'm one of the many teenagers trying to grapple with the fact that there will be no girl for him and move on. Ideally, I could just shut up and move on without a second thought, but there's a little b*tch in the back of my mind whining and crying about it, and I want to shut him up and man up and move on. How can I just convince myself to give up on love and quiet my melodramatic, whiny side so I can just move on?
Now tell me, why is it that so many teenagers are convinced that just because they do not have a significant other before age 20, they will never fall in love? Honestly, it doesn't make sense to me. Do you not realize how much more special a relationship is when you are older then when you are younger and everything is full of drama? As a teenager, you have plenty of time to find that someone special; just don't rush it! The majority of relationships that happen in the teen years don't last anyway--by skipping those, you save yourself a ton of heartache. Not saying if you happen to find a great girl while you are a teen that you should not give it a chance, but don't worry about it if you don't.

christians only: how should i feel about abortion, please read details?
as a Christian, i beginning to see more and more why abortion is against God's will and that we have no right to take that life. however, i grapple with the fact that i live in the US where i believe people should have certain rights and should be allowed to practice their own beliefs (though i may not agree with them). i don't feel i have the right to decide how another woman should feel about it. i know this makes me pro-choice. at the same time i feel that abortion is wrong. anyone else agree with me? if i should change my thoughts on this subject, why? i am having a hard time figuring out how Christ would deal with this issue.
If you see abortion as against God's will, as you say you do, are you not going to do something about it? Are you an American first and only secondarily a Christian?
How would Christ deal with the issue? Do you think He would just shrug off abortion because the law of the land says it is the woman's right? Didn't Jesus challenge the laws that existed at that time? Why do you think did the Pharisees want Him dead?
Sorry for answering your questions with more questions. But maybe your answer to my questions will help you answer your own questions about abortion.
