Are Airsoft BBs safe to reuse?
Can Reused BBs that have been rinsed off and fully dried break a airsoft gun?
if shot out of a spring gun or LPEG, then I'd say it'd be okay, especially if you don't particularly care about the gun you're using. basically if it uses .12g BB's it's ok, but not recommended. anything like a MPEG or higher or that shoots .2g BB's or higher should not be reused. the small amounts of money you will save will be outweighed by performance loss. if shot hard enough, the BB's may crack or dent, even if you can't see it, causing lower FPS, accuracy and possible damage to you're gun. don't be mr. cheap, just buy another bag of BB's, it will save you in the long run.

Is it safe to dry-fire my Browning HP hand gun?
What determines the ability to dry-fire a handgun is this: what stops the forward progress of the firing pin. If it's the primer when a cartridge is in the chamber (as it does in the Browning and 1911), and that cartridge is not there, then the firing pin slams against the opening in the back of the assembly that holds it. This can, over time, cause an "o-ring" to form on the tip of the firing pin, and if it fails, then that's where: the tip breaks off at the "o-ring."
A simple device called a 'snap cap" will prevent that. A spring inside the palstic cartridge absorbs the kinetic energy of the firing pin as it moves forward and prevents damage.
