Experienced muzzle loader users?
I accidentally did a very stupid thing at the range the other day actually fired two loads stacked on top of one another. (120 grains of powder, 240 grain sabot then another 120 grains of powder and another 240 grain sabot on top) I checked the gun (a Knight disc elite) out really well afterward and there was no apparent damage. I know Im lucky nothing bad happened. I dont think the second load of powder would have ignited but don't really know. It kicked like a mule. What do I need to do to make sure the gun is still in safe operating condition?
I was using a new rod that I hadnt marked yet, wont make that mistake again.
Double loading a muzzleloader is not all that rare. We have all done it at least once if we have been shooting muzzleloaders very long. It is highly unlikely that you did any damage to your gun. It is a good brand and is manufactured to high standards so it should have come through the experience unscathed. When you do load a double load as you did, the second powder charge will not ignite and is simply blown out the muzzle with both bullets. Since you have increased the mass that you are firing out the muzzle of your gun by an additional 360 grains, you certainly will notice an increase in recoil just as you reported.
Having said all of this, if you want to check out your gun for possible damage, the most likely thing that would happen would be a bulge in your barrel. To check for this, just put a tight fitting lubricated patch on your cleaning jag and slowly run it up and down your bore feeling for "loose" spots. If one had occurred, you would most likely find it near the breach. If the patch moves up and down the bore nice and smoothly, you have done no damage to the bore.
Like I say, we have all done this if we have been shooting muzzleloaders very long. The other thing that will happen, if it hasn't already happened, to you is to "dry ball" your gun. That is when you run a bullet down the bore forgetting to put in the powder. If you haven't already done this, you will some day. No need for panic, just remove the nipple and pour in a small amount of powder and replace the nipple. Seat the bullet on the powder and fire it into a safe dirt bank or other safe place just to get rid of the bullet. After firing, use your ramrod to check that the bullet did come out. Once it is out, you are ready to start over. You are shooting an inline but if you dryballed a flintlock.........well, now you do have a problem. Fortunately, it too is solvable.
Anyway, your little "accident" didn't cost you anything because those guns are made to handle heavy charges greater than you are using. It's a non-issue, go on and use your rifle.

Should I buy a new Airsoft gun or Sais?
I can't decide on whether to get a new airsoft hand gun or a pair of sai. both are around 20 bucks. The airsoft gun I want is a Colt Delta Elite seen here

The sais I just came across them at a noveltie/collectible store called Gifts Unlimited today. I went in to look at a pair of nunchuks but didn't buy them so I'm considering buying the sai. I have no training in the sai and just kind thought that they'd be cool. I made a pair of tonfas out of pvc pipe and have yet to hurt myself or anyone (if you don't count the kitchen light lol) so I think I'm pretty safe.
Any help or helpful opinions would be greatly appreciated.
well the airsoft gun is crap. $20 bucks won't get u any good airsoft. the sai, well there cool and guess what, if somone tries to rob u, BAM cut em up.
Get the airsoft if u want a broken piece of plastic after the first 2 weeks, or get the sai if u want some cool metal weapons that won't break.
go with the sai for $20.
if u wanna spend more go with the airsoft.

Haha four people (all probably men) replied, but DID NOT ANSWER her question.Im ASSUMING players sometimes pile on one another by accident, like a guy falls and causes a chain reaction. However dudes who actually play football should have a more in depth answer (or at least whats their purpose for doing it)..and if their is no purpose..then im sorry to say that your friend may be right.I could understand why someone would raise a brow towards 8-10 men jumping on one another in tight pants. But I guess the reasoning behind it is taboo and since some find this question to be a "fail" it indicates its something they'd rather not speak of (hmm I wonder why?) Also piles happen during short yardage situations too and I guess a stack is when players are literally stacked on one another. Well good luck hopefully you'll get a better answer from a MATURE & STRAIGHT person lol. But yea..i'd assume as well that its painful.
