Gun Safe Hand Combination
Custom-set M1911 Colt .45?
Anyone know where I can get my hands on one?
The .45 was designed with right handed people in mind, not lefties like me. To keep it safe, the bolt snaps back to the left after the gun recoils. As you can imagine, I can't fire left-handed, or I end up with a nasty cut & bruise combination between my thumb and index finger.
Any help would be great.

actually the 1911 style pistol can be safely and easily fired from right or left hand, although it does kick the shells out to the right. I fire both hands weekly as part of my practice sessions, and was required to fire both hands to qualify as a cop. Which hand you hold with does not control hammer bite, which is common with a standard grip safety for people like me with wide hands. Believe me, with the stock safety and hammer, it tears bloody chunks out of the web area of my hands.Simply have a beaver tail style grip safety, and a commander/combat style hammer installed, and no more hammer bite, plus you accuracy will increase because of the more constant manner in which it forces you to properly grip the firearm.

what kind of lock does the remline GC908 Gun cabinet safe have?
I am thinking about buying one of these safes but i want to know if it is a combination safe or a keyed safe any one out there that has one please help me out i have searched the web but have came up empty handed
It appears to be a keyed lock like a $20 file cabinet. It isn't really a safe at all. It is just a metal cabinet that is made out of thicker guage metal. If you look in the picture at the door. It is open and you will see the metal lock arms that run vertically up and down the opened outer edge. That is for the bolts to lock in on the top and bottom when the key is turned.
I can have that opened in less than a minute and you wouldn't even know I was there. Lock picking is not a difficult thing and if people realized how easy it was they would soo begin to realize that maybe they are not so safe or secure after all.
Double your investment and buy a formidable gun safe. You can buy a 8-14 gun safe for under $350 that has a combo dial or a digi pad. After all it isn't hand tools here.
