Gun Safe Lock How do I unlock our new Remington gun safe?
Our brand new safe is locked with presents inside. The key alone does not unlock it. Please someone tell me how to unlock it.
I looked at some Remington safes on-line. Is yours the kind with a dial with a keyhole in it? The keyhole is for locking the dial only, it does not lock the safe itself.
If you have placed presents inside the safe, and locked it without removing the combination, instructions, and any other paperwork, you are going to be unhappy.
If this is the case, I would look for a visible serial number on the outside of the safe somewhere, and call Remington and see if they can give you the combination. If not, you will have to call a locksmith to get it open.
