Guns Swords Knife
Kids and Toy Guns?
Do you let your children play with toy weapons. Knives, swords and guns etc?
If so, why? and if not, why not?
I don't let mine play any kind of games involving weapons or violence. Will they suffer not being able to play them?
(2 daughters, 7+10 and 4 year old son)
I have an 11 year old son and no i do not let him use those items. I firmly believe that they promote violent behavior in children and have seen this proven time and again from being a teacher for 13 years. I also do not let him watch violent television shows.

question about antique sword/knife?
Alright so my uncle gave me a gun sword/knife.Its the the one you attach to the gun back in the day. It was rusty and i cleaned a peace of it because there was writing on it. I dont know what it says, might not even be english.The only thing i could of read was the year.It is 1876. How much would this sword/knife be worth?
you don't need an "antiques professor" like hesamurai says, send me a photo of it and I will be more than happy to help you out. Just don't clean any more of it, if it is valuable, cleaning it can drastically reduce the value.
