Hidden Wall Safe
Do you ever have one of those moments where you arent connecting with anyone?
and for awhile you dont realize it until you really need to talk to someone.? I have a therapist and right now I dont feel I am connecting with her ...for some reason I want to hide behind my walls more than usual. I want to tell my friends that I feel afraid sometimes but I dont feel comfortable or safe doing so. Have you ever felt this way and if so what did you do?
i truly understand i isolate my self until i start to go crazy and my only companions are this computer my xbox and my kids i dont answer the phone for days at a time and then i force my self to go and talk to my therapist no matter how much i really dont want to and as for not feeling a connection with yours .. this is my 3rd one ive had during the duration of my treatment see if they have any other available where you are going for help and keep trying i promise you can find the right one just keep your head up i know how its feels to feel alone just know its not forever

Vent behind the washer/dryer?
I recently noticed that there is a vent hidden on the wall behind the washer/dryer in the laundry room.
I would assume that this is a return vent that brings air to the furnace in the basement when the heat comes on, but all of the other such vents in the house are located on the ceiling, not on the wall.
The only other vent in the laundry room is on the floor, which is where the heat/cool air comes in. So would it be safe to assume that the vent behind the washer/dryer on the wall sucks air from the room to the furnace?
Check it when the heat comes on. If it has a bit of a suction action, it would be the return vent. If air comes out of it, it's not. I would imagine that if it's a return vent, it wouldn't be a good idea to have it behind the dryer. If any hot air was blowing into it, your heat probably wouldn't kick on until the rest of the house was pretty dang cold.
