Home Office Water
What type of water fountain is best for a corporate office?
I am interested in adding a water fountain in my corporate office. I have not decided yet on materials, but slate, natural river rock and Italian copper are some of the materials I have been looking at.
I am figuring that the fountain should be about 6 feet in length. I checked the home improvement stores in my area and most of their fountains are low quality. I also went online. I found a few places with quality wall fountains (Water Gallery), but does anyone have experience with larger wall fountains? Which type should I choose for my corporate office?
Given the costs, maintenance costs, and waste of water, this is a bad idea. It will definitely harm your company's image in the eyes of consumerists and environmentalists to add such an expensive and wasteful item.

Why does brown water come out?
I just recently moved into a new apartment and when I turned the water on all the faucets and shower, brown water comes out. It only comes on for like 5 seconds and goes to normal clear color. Then I never saw it again. Well once I had not used the water for about 2 days, I came home and tried to use the water, and once again brown water came out for a couple of seconds and then to clear. How should I go about telling the front office considering I use the water every day so I cant "show" them the problem.
Next time you've left the water off for a few days, put a glass under the faucet before you turn it on. Show your landlord that water to prove your point.
More than likely you live in an older building and there is rust sitting in those old iron pipes. That's why you see the brown water at first. As the water rushes through the pipes, it cleans out the loose stuff and the water clears.
If I were you I'd get a water filter like a Britta pitcher or PUR water attachment for my faucet. If you're really worried about it, take a water sample in a sterile glass container to your local health department and they will check it for you for free.

I agree it's probably not serious, but with a weekend coming up it's always smart to be on the safe side. If you have a regular vet, call and see if you can run a sample by his office today or tomorrow. It's not costly to examine it, and if he finds something, I'm sure he'd give you a double dose. When it's this watery, you don't want it continuing too long. It sounds like a parasite to me.
