Below is a little description of what my completed novel is about... What do you think? What were your thoughts on it and does it pull you in as a reader?
Hayley Manuel is trying to run away from her past
Bloody hands tells the story of 13-year-old Hayley Manuel, who, along with her two best friends, is abducted by the notorious rebel group, the Lions. She is forced to commit heinous crimes, such as killing innocent children. She goes from being loved by her family, to becoming a sex slave to a man old enough to be her father, giving birth to a baby who is taken away from her. When she is separated from her close friends, Hayley is suddenly left alone in the darkness of Hell, learning to fend for herself, and becoming what is required: EVIL. It takes her friend's death to make Hayley decide enough is enough. Now that she’s in this alone, she will risk her life to get back to the place where she has always felt safe: home, even if it kills her.
I like it. You have given this character a strong purpose and you have not allowed her 'super' powers she remains in the realm of reality and when she does risk that moment it is because she has almost saved up all her hatred and all that.

An Introduction to "Safe at Home: A Novel" by Richard Doster
how can i transition from my intro paragraph to my thesis statement? my essay is on the bean trees?
by barbara kingsolver and my topic is three female characters who rang from weak to strong. here are the last few sentences and then my thesis:
Taylor is introduced to Esperanza and Estevan through Mattie, who are refugees from guatemala and are running from the government. They are staying with Mattie because her home serves as a safe house for refugees. In this novel there are three female characters who range from very weak to very strong: Lou Ann, Taylor, and Mattie.
i need a transition going into the thesis but i cant come up with one
