Hoodoo Santeria

Does this sound like any kind of witchcraft?
Is this any kind of known spell or curse in Wicca, Voodoo, Hoodoo, Santeria, or any kind of witchcraft?
On the outside front steps of my house, someone ripped out some growing flowers that I had in a pot. Inside the pot contained: black water, a dead mouse, a living spider, and a snake.
Does this sound like any kind of witchcraft?
It sounds like an adult throwing a tantrum, acting childish, like of throwing eggs at your door and calling you every ugly name in the book.
"They are sooooo mean, I'm gonna rip out their flowers and put all kinds of nasty and disgusting stuff in there. Ewwww my hands are covered in slime. Ick ick ick."
Does that sound like the makings of a spell, much less a really powerful spell? I've sneezed scarier things than that.

| | Cuban Santeria $23.71 Initiated into the Santeria priesthood at the age of seven, Raul Canizares unveils in Cuban Santeria the secret and seductive world of this rapidly growing, yet largely misunderstood, Afro-Cuban religion. With the knowledge of an insider and the insight of a scholar, Canizares astutely examines the practice of Santeria, revealing many of its hidden dimensions while simultaneously providing a fascinating account of its unique textured mix of African, Cuban, and Catholic traditions. The Cuban-born author describes the practices and rituals of the followers of Santeria -- from magical herbal prescription and healing to spiritism and animal sacrifice -- and explains how for many years the religion has been maintained under the guise of Catholicism to avoid religious persecution. Most initiates are sworn to a code of silence, but Canizares believes that the time has come to move Santeria, a religion of beauty and resilience, out of the darkness and into the light so that a more accurate picture of this rich tradition can emerge. |

Witches of all (hoodoo, wicca, santeria, etc...) what do you do when someone really upsets you?
There ARE Witches in Santeria. After all a Witch is just a wise one....and Santerian High Priests/ess are wise.
*sigh* Witch does not mean "wise one" and never has. "Wizard" has better claim to association with "wise" than the word "witch."
A witch is simply a practitioner of witchcraft. If someone doesn't practice witchcraft, they will probably be offended if you call them a witch.
Most often what I do when someone really upsets me is a vent to my husband. Also, if there's something I can do about the upsetting situation, I try and rectify it. If there's nothing I can do, I try to let it go best I can.

Voodoo (SanterĂa) has been getting a bad rap in NYC for years thanks to all of the dead animals, (parts and whole) that regularly turn up in Prospect Parka and at various waterfront areas.
