Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Pay to play, sometimes pay for play, is a phrase used for a variety of situations in which money is exchanged for services or the privilege to engage (play) in certain activities. The common denominator of all forms of pay to play is that one must pay to get in the game, with the sports analogy frequently arising. In politics, pay to play refers to a system, akin to payola in the music industry, by which one pays (or must pay) money to become a player. Verizon InPulse to Regular Plan?

I am currently on a Verizon inpulse plan, which is verizon's pay as you go plan. You have to buy refill cards and it gets annoying.
I was really wondering if it was possible to use the same phone, and just switch my plan from PAYG to a regular monthly flat bill?

Recently Verizon Wireless has open their network to everyone on their cell phones plans without signing any contracts. Basically anyone can sign up on their regular cell phone plans without signing a 2 year contract. The requirement is the person would have to purchase a cell phone at full retail price or if the person has a old Verizon phone then they can sign up on any plan.

In your case since you have a prepaid phone you can technically use that phone to sign up on any of their normal plans. You wouldn't need to sign up for a 2 year contract. However I think Verizon states that your prepaid phone has to be activated for at least for 6 months prepaid before switching to a normal Verizon cell phone plan. Please visit a Verizon Store and ask for more details.
