Ipod Security
What security does the ipod touch have?
I own an ipod touch and was wondering, what security features have apple built into it?
It must have have some sort of firewall or protection against viruses?
???.. ipods don't get viruses.. I don't think they can. I've put lots of music from limewire onto my ipods in the past and my current ipod touch and never had any problems. And people are always saying limewire is infested with viruses. And if I downloaded one I wouldn't know b/c I use a mac.. pc viruses wont' work on it.
As far as surfing the internet the only way you could get a virus would be to download something.. which you cannot do on the touch.
You COULD get a virus if you've jailbroken your ipod and are putting a bunch of applications on there. Those could contain viruses and you wouldn't know it until it destroyed the ipod and probably your computer along with it. One of the reasons I don't want to jailbreak mine.
But no, there is not anti virus software on there b/c they were not meant to be jailbroken and were not meant to have strange non approved applications on them.

What do you have to do so your iPod Touch 8GB can connect to internet without a router's security code?
I have a router but i cant seem to find the security code or pass phrase. How do I connect to the internet without the security code or pass phrase?
you can't.
To find the code, look on the back of the router.
If it's not there, then just tell your neighbor (the ones who have the wifi) to give it to you =P
