Jewelry Gun Safe Im getting my cartilage pierced. Help?
I'm getting my cartilage pierced on Monday at a shop down town called 'Gergoia's Gems.' It started off as a normal jewellery shop selling bangles, hair extensions etc. It soon decided to build a tatto parlour and piercing shop at the back. I've never got anything pierced there before, but my Mum had her belly button done there and it seemed pretty safe. However, I am getting my cartilage pierced on Monday and I'm not sure if the use a gun or needle. Im quite worried; I know a needle is safer etc. Will my ear be alright if they do use guns at that shop?

I would certainly recommend having it done with a needle. When you get anything pierced with a gun, it isn't done with a point that is as sharp as a needle is. Piercing with a gun can also be less safe since most can not be put into an autoclave which is the absolute best way to sterilize! I've been pierced both ways and I prefer the needle over the gun by far!!!! It took me far longer to heal when i had my cartilage pierced with the needle. Recently your friends have been talking about their home safes. The discussions are general, non-specific.
