What is the best way to keep track of all appointments in my business?

I will be making cold calls and doing follow up calls and visits to the companies. Do I use note cards and treat it like each note card box with cards is for each month and when appt comes up, do the follow up or the sale or what. I need a easy way to keep track of all my follow up appts. plus introduce new calls to be made or do visit new companies. I feel a regular appt book won't hold all my appts. on that single day. I hope this makes sense. My business partner said I should be doing 30 - 50 cold calls or new visits a day and keep up with all appts. while creating new appts. daily.....I need your advice......HELP!!!

Your business partner and you should consider radio advertising for your target market. Then instead of wasting so much time on useless cold calls, you could actually follow up with a potential customer. It is totally unrealistic for him to insist on 30-50 cold calls in a day. They will not be quality calls. If you need to do so many, it would be just, "Hi, here's my card. If you want anything, let me know." I can't imagine when you get all your paperwork done. This sounds like a job that you will burn out on really quickly. Good luck but you need a new direction for success.
